Day 7: Best Job
Best job I have ever had was, hands down, working at a local bridal shop. It was so much fun to interact with women who were in one of the happiest seasons of their lives! I worked with tons of super great ladies and miss each of them now that we’re all away at different schools.

Goodness I have dozens of wonderful memories from childhood it’s so hard to pick just one! My fondest is probably the silly fear that my best friend, Samantha, and I had of alligators living in my ditch. We used to always run, holding hands and jump over the ditch whenever we needed to get past it to get to the street. My mom still sometimes reminds us to be careful of the alligators when...

Day 3: Hometown Location and Facts
Rocky Mount, North Carolina
Rocky Mount had its beginning in the early part of the 19th century. It centered around the first post office which was established at the Falls of the Tar River on March 22, 1816. It was at that point that the name Rocky Mount appeared in documented history. The name undoubtedly derived from the rocky mound at the falls of the Tar River, which was also the site of...
